Did you know that Etsy has a new amazing feature called Shop Updates? I just started using it and I’m hooked. I am able to add a picture update and link it to a product in my shop. The picture tells a story about the product or a behind the scenes look at the making of a piece. As most of you know, I love social media and interacting with all of my current and future customers. You can find me on Snapchat, Pinterest, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Tumblr, Flickr…. I think I have an addiction! LOL!
To find the shop updates link (on any Etsy shop) just go to your favorite Etsy shop: www.awljewelry.com and scroll down until you find the link on the left column of the screen.
After clicking on the link you will be directed to the updates page where you can find more info on new products, specials, and what I’m currently working on.
Feel free to stop by every week for new updates on my work.

YOU ARE INVITED!
Tomorrow I will be displaying my latest creation at the South Miami Rotary Art Fest. I call it the Equinox and its colors are what inspired the name of this statement piece. It is made out of Sterling Silver set with 4 teardrop Labradorites with stunning labradorescence, 9 round red carnelians, 8 green Jades, and 5 denim blue Lapis Lazuli cabochons. It hangs perfectly centered and dangles with your every move. Its simply spectacular and I am very happy to show you this beautiful piece this weekend.
It takes place in the vibrant downtown area of South Miami on Sunset Drive (SW 72nd Street) from US 1 to Red Road (SW 57th Avenue) adjacent to The Shops at Sunset Place. T

February 21-22, 2015, Saturday 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM and Sunday 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM. On Saturday night there is live jazz onstage until 8:00 PM in the beer garden at 58th Avenue and Sunset.
A client came to me with a pair of larimar earrings she had in her personal jewelry stash. She hadn’t worn them in a while because she didn’t like the fact that they were so plain and she wasn’t fond of french hook earring wires either.
I was told to re-vamp the design and give them a makeover. I took them apart because honestly, whoever made these, didn’t do a great job. I made completely new bezels adorned with twisted wire, embellished them with some antiquing and gave them ball posts. They turned out so cute I think I will make more of these to add to my inventory.
Let me know what you think in the comments!

Sterling silver necklace made entirely by hand. The leaves have been individually hand-cut from silver sheet I rolled. The five bezels are shaped and soldered true to the stones size, each jump ring is individually made from 18 gauge wire I drew, and the chain consists of different links made from 16 gauge sterling silver wire I cut, bent, shaped and hammered. Very proud of this piece.
Always With Love,
